How are YOU doing today?

I am known for being “a loud sigher”. I sigh a lot. And by that I mean, I often let out a very loud breath pretty much everyday. I forget how dramatic this appears to those around me. Therefore, often being asked, “are you ok?’

Many moons ago, I became a certified massage practitioner. In massage school, we were taught to listen for the deep breath. When your client takes that first deep inhale and then exhale, their muscles are releasing. Their thoughts are relaxing. Their body is starting to let go of stress through their exhales (carbon dioxide), and they are creating more space for fresh oxygen.

So yes, I embrace the sigh. The loud exhale. The room for oxygen. Oxygen equaling a new moment.

So how are you doing today? In this moment? Could you use a really deep inhale and exhale? Could you use a moment to just release everything that is no longer serving you?

Could you use a moment for a fresh breath, and clarity?

I say, YES. All day, everyday my friends!

Let it out!
